Yountakah Country: print, Kindle and Nook

Cherry Blossom Press presents YOUNTAKAH COUNTRY A Poetic View Of Nutley Old And New by Nutley writer Anthony Buccino. The poetry collection is available on Amazon and Nook

The local writer takes some history, some folk lore and some current news and mixes them together in this humorous and thoughtful collection of verse about the little town now called Nutley in northeastern Essex County.

On these pages, Buccino brings in his mix of verse, history and humor the Lenni Lenape, Annie Oakley, Mark Twain, Richard Stockton, the Colonial Garden, the Velodrome and valium, overnight parking, the UN Gardens, the ITT tower, the Thin Man, Guthrie's general store, President Grant, Nutley Theater, pizza wars and more.

Buccino published twelve books, including six earlier full-length poetry collections:
  • CANNED Booted, bumped, down-sized, fired, forced out, hated, hired, laid off, let go, out of work, out-sourced, pink-slipped, terminated, sacked, unemployed
  • Retrieving Labrador Days - Dog Tales In Prose And Verse;
  • Sixteen Inches On Center
  • AMERICAN BOY: PUSHING SIXTY
  • VOICES ON THE BUS;
  • ONE MORNING IN JERSEY CITY

He published three collections of essays based in and around New Jersey. Buccino blogs about life in New Jersey and about commuting at NJ.Com.

The Nutley Sons and Belleville Sons honor roll books recount the lives of more than 300 men who died in service to their country. Buccino is a business news editor in New York City.
